Si Jin Bao is unique among herbal companies in that we provide all our herbs in concentrated decoctions. Decoctions are derived from “cooking” the herbal formula to create a more potent and more easily assimilated form. The net result is a liquid and/or cream that can be used topically or taken as a tea.

In China , over 80% of all herbs are processed by patients into decoctions . However, many patients do not follow through with their herbal treatment in the United States due to the extensive amount of time and effort it takes to do correctly. At SJB, we do all the work and provide your patient with a powerful concentrated decoction that is easy to use and has been shown to increase patient compliance and provide results.

We concentrate our herbs at a 16:1 ratio that gives you all the potency, but in a much smaller dose. Now patients only have to add 1 ½ teaspoons of our Concentrated Decoctions in 4 ounces of hot water or any other hot beverage of their choice. We have done the hard work for them, making their treatment easier and more effective.

In the past, Chinese Herbs were sometimes corrupted by heavy metals and other impurities. To ensure we didn't have those problems, our herbs meet all California State and FDA regulations, we also comply with (GMP) good manufacturing processing standards.
